Stroud Goddess Temple volunteers have co-created a beautiful outdoor space to connect with Goddess and with one-another in our community for Spring / Summer 2021. The 12ft Tipi is currently up and functioning as a temple and gathering space at The Lunar Womb Temple, South Lodge, Owlpen GL11 5BY. Opening hours for temple visitors to drop in for prayers, blessing and contemplation are listed for each week on the Stroud Goddess Temple Facebook Page.
We have so far had a an inaugural Owl Daughters Teen Support Circle for ages 11-14 on 3rd April hosted by Freya in the space. There will be a Crystal Bowl Healing Meditation with Sonic Bliss this evening 5th April, and a Women's Circle for Dark Moon on 11th April, details can be found for this in the Owl Woman Moon Lodge - Women's Circle / Red Tent Facebook group.
We will be taking the pop-up Goddess temple to the Fantasy Forest festival at Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe near Cheltenham for the weekend of 16th - 18th July, for festival goers to enjoy and to raise awareness about our project to open a permanent temple to the Goddess in Stroud. We are so excited to welcome visitors into this beautiful dedicated temple space, in an outdoors setting with excellent ventilation for safety in these times. A maximum of 6 people are permitted to enter the tipi at one time in order to observe social distancing, and hand sanitizer is available for visitors to use upon entry.
